4th Annual Holiday Party for “Operation Santa” Project!

The holidays are here and it’s time to celebrate! This is a combined effort of various groups for a good cause … Pasadena Jaycees’ “Operation Santa” Project and the Union Station Homeless Services.

About Operation Santa:

Operation “Op” Santa is a yearly event that helps children in the local community. Children send letters to Santa and the Pasadena USPS reroutes them to the Pasadena Jaycees office instead. The local Jaycees read each and every letter and try their best to match up toys that are donated BY YOU to the requests of the children. This letter reading happens throughout the month of December and is a large scale effort that will need some help if you want to volunteer for this please check out http://pasadenajaycees.org/

Then on Christmas Eve, 60+ Santas and Ms. Claus literally deliver theses toys to the children at their homes and let them know they received their letter. This event is a massive endeavor each year and we can always use more volunteers for letter reading, Santas, food vendor donations for the volunteers, clean up crews, toy transportation the day of the event.

About Our Party:

Our party is for all who want to attend including those who would be attending the Monthly Jaycees Mixer, BNI Holiday Mixer, Yelp Foodie Friends, Beer Snobs, Hikers, etc … many groups will be represented. Great time to support a local charity, network for business, enjoy food, drinks, and a massage!
